Specific interest and experience  -

  • As a trauma-informed therapist, I am guided by the principles; safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness and empowerment.

  • families navigating ASD and ADHD diagnosis seeking ongoing support.

  • Supporting women's health with an approach to therapy that recognises the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

  • Adults who have received late-in-life ADHD or ASD diagnosis. Helping to navigate a new understanding of themselves and develop coping strategies tailored to their specific needs and circumstances.

  •  Supporting parents, caregivers, and siblings of children with diagnoses to create a supportive environment for the entire family to thrive amongst challenges.

  • Work in school has developed my practice with a focus on supporting children to understand their challenges and strengths. Helping them to develop strategies to advocate for themselves as they grow and thrive in their uniqueness.

Personal me........

I am an art maker, I wouldn't say an artist! I like creating,  whether it's a platter of food for friends, or rearranging the furniture to create a new space! I am a book lover and a neverending traveller always seeking new places to experience.  If I don't have my head in a book, I am planning a new trip.

My travels have taken me to inspiring places like Morocco and Egypt, as well as many countries in Europe, Asia and Pacific islands. I have lived in the USA, London, Scotland and Laos which has offered rich experiences and great memories to draw on.  I am a Mum of two boys, a wife, a sister, an Aunty and I'm told, a good friend to have around as my stories can be very entertaining.

(even when I don't mean them to be!)

My latest hobby is basket weaving,  but so far, if you were paying me by the hour, the basket might cost thousands of dollars! Its a slow process.
